Date: July 25, 2010(Sunday)

Venue: IT Park, Kavare, Nepal

Objective: The objective of this one day workshop is to orient students of BIM 4^th semester about FOSS, various development happening about FOSS in Nepal and how they could either be part of any existing OR initiate any new ideas or projects on FOSS.

Note 1. : The first half of the workshop will be more informative and sharing. Whereas the second half will be more about students, FOSS team members and Prime IT Club students working in groups and discussing, planning and developing action plan for their FOSS projects and ideas.

Note 2: This document will be updated in the Prime College IT club wiki (http://primeitclub.pbworks.com/Orientation-workshop-on-Free-and-Open-Source-Software) for anyone to view, comment, edit or provide thier feedback. SECTION I: Trip to IT Park, Kavare, Nepal, Breakfast and Refreshment at IT Park.
